What is your main role at PMPG?
I have been a partner of the STEUERBERATER FSK legal firm since 2013 and, as a result of the merger with PMPG, will also become a partner and site manager at PMPG Aachen. My task will be to further develop the law firm and the firm’s location and to continue to deliver a high level of quality for our clients. Especially when it comes to questions of digital cooperation, it will be my goal to be able to master the challenges of the coming years with innovative ideas throughout the PMPG Group.
How do you spend your free time?
I spend what little free time I have with my family and friends and enjoy the relaxation. If I ever have extended time to myself, I also like playing billiards.
Why did you become a tax consultant?
Out of love for clear rules and structures, I somehow ended up at the tax office in training and later studying to be a graduate financial economist in Nordkirchen. During this time, I was able to become acquainted with tax law and all its finesse and subtleties. However, I had to realise that my passion doesn’t lie in working in a very narrow field of activity examining issues that already exist. I wanted to think outside the box and be involved in its design and organisation. Therefore, after passing my exam in Nordkirchen, I passed the tax-consultant exam very quickly. I have now been involved in an advisory capacity for almost 15 years, and it is still a lot of fun.
