Nicole Matzner

How long have you been at PMPG and what is your main role?

I’ve been part of the big PMPG family since January 2014. I started my journey here as a tax specialist, passed my tax consultant exam in 2021 and have been leading one of the three tax teams in Bornheim since November 2021..

What do you value most about the PMPG team?

Whether within the location or beyond – our cooperation and the constant professional and personal exchange know no boundaries.

What do you think makes PMPG special?

Thanks to our many specialist areas and specialised qualifications, we not only offer our clients interdisciplinary service packages from a single source, but we can also benefit from this internally. Because you can always rely on the collegial and energetic PMPG support and you are never left alone with difficult questions or problems. At PMPG, it’s not just about numbers, but above all about people.

On a more personal note. What do you do in your free time?

My favourite way to spend my free time is with friends. From cosy restaurant visits to excursions, concerts and festivals to dancing the night away, it’s all there. I also enjoy being out in nature or being captivated by an exit game or psychological thriller.

Why did you become a tax consultant?

As is so often the case in life, it was chance for me. I actually wanted to study biology and then stumbled across a job advert for a tax clerk by chance. That’s how I immersed myself in the world of tax and the versatility of this world fascinated me so much over time that I’m ultimately glad that my Plan A failed. And today I’m doing a job that I really enjoy.

Describe PMPG in a few short sentences.

At PMPG, everyone has the opportunity to fulfil a wide range of tasks and to develop themselves further. We are a strong team in which we support, challenge and encourage each other. We move with the times and are motivated rather than deterred by innovations or changes.
